Chase McWhirter is clearing the air about his past.
The “Mormon Wife” star, who was married to MomTok member Miranda McWhorter from 2017 to 2024, broke his silence on reports that he was arrested in July for DUI and cocaine possession, which was confirmed in court documents obtained by Us Weekly.
“Time to address the elephant in the room,” Chase began a video posted to TikTok on Dec. 4. “And I don’t have a publicist, so I’m just going to be on the air about this live. The reports I saw yesterday about what happened to me on the Fourth of July are true.”
“I got pulled over for driving under the influence, took a substance I shouldn’t have taken, and got behind the wheel of a car,” he continued. “This is a very short-sighted, selfish and dangerous decision. And a big shout out to the police officers who helped keep people safe on the roads, because it could have ended much worse than it did.”
The 30-year-old, who has two children, Brooks, six, and Cohen, four, with Miranda, said the incident happened as he was driving home after an argument at a friend’s pool party.
