Botched’s Terry Dubrow reveals his most overrated plastic surgery and the one he’ll regret
Natalie Joy learned her mommy makeover might not be what the doctor ordered. At least not yet.
The 27-year-old scored free medical advice on how to handle beauty treatments during pregnancy and pregnancy when she met with Dr. Terry Dubrow, a plastic surgeon who, along with her husband Nick Viall, has worked with celebrity patients from Janice Dickinson to Kim Zolciak-Biermann.
“The general rule I tell people is if you’re thinking of having a child in the next two years, don’t do[plastic surgery]because it just changes everything,” Dubrow said on the June 24 episode of the Viall Files podcast. “Don’t touch my stomach or chest. Don’t do anything.”
The Botched star explained to Joy, who announced her pregnancy with twins on Feb. 4, why it’s “rare” for any procedure, including breast implants, to maintain desired results through multiple pregnancies.
“For example, if you go from a small B to a full C, that means your skin is stretching,” Dubrow clarified for a hypothetical case after a first pregnancy. “Then you get pregnant (again) and this time your milk comes in. Now you’re a double D? Then you stop breastfeeding, or you don’t breastfeed, but either way (your cup size) goes back to a C.”
