Anna Faris’ son Jack, 13, makes rare public appearance at Scary Movie 6 premiere
Never be afraid. A new scary movie is here.
The sixth installment in the series hits theaters on June 5th, and the cast is terrifyingly great. Twenty-six years after starring in the OG movie, Marlon Wayans, Sean Wayans, Anna Faris, and Regina Hall return to bring the laughs as they take on the masked killer Ghostface.
“It felt like yesterday,” Marlon, who also co-wrote and produced the first, second and sixth Scary Movie films with Sean, told Fandango in April. “When we first met, it felt like a high school reunion.”
Like the previous version, the new film parodies popular horror films such as recent hits “Get Out,” “M3GAN,” “Thinners,” “Smile,” “The Substance,” and “Weapons.”
“We just threw everything in the kitchen sink,” Marlon added. “And I said, ‘As long as it’s interesting, it’s fine.'”
And nothing seems to be off-limits. “Nothing is sacred,” Paramount Pictures said in a statement. “No metaphor survives. All lines are crossed. Wayans is back to cancel cancel culture.”
