Why Patricia Arquette’s daughter Harlow Jane was afraid to follow in her family’s footsteps
Harlow Jane knows she has to wear big shoes, not medium ones.
Harlow, 23, credits her mother, Patricia Arquette, for her blossoming acting career, which culminated with her latest starring role in Five Star Weekend, which premieres on Peacock on July 9. But she admits that accepting the acting torch from the Oscar winner was a move Harlow didn’t take lightly.
“The truth is, I was too scared to try and I was scared of failing,” Harlow exclusively told E! Magazine. News’ Erin Lim Rose attends the premiere of Five Star Weekend on July 8th in Los Angeles. “I was too afraid of not being good enough.”
After all, Harlow’s role model is someone who has played some iconic TV roles, including Allison Dubois on Medium and Harmony Korbel on Severance. Additionally, Harlow comes from a large family of entertainers, with his aunt Rosanna Arquette, uncle David Arquette, and father Thomas Jane all having successful careers of their own.
Harlow quipped: “I never wanted to be the worst in the family – and I still could be, you never know!”
