The Dancing with the Stars star deftly dodged questions about whether he was dating Xochitl Gomez after the two sparked romance speculation with an intimate dance at the show’s 20th anniversary celebration on Nov. 11.

“Oh my god, I had the best time,” Robert told TMZ about performing a jive routine with the Marvel actress during the dance relay portion of the episode. 「あのダンスはとても楽しかったです。」

And the 21-year-old was among six Mirrorball Trophy winners after performing a foxtrot in honor of his late father Robert Irwin earlier in the evening with professional partner Witney Carson and sister Bindi Irwin. He emphasized that it was refreshing to perform such high-energy choreography with Xochitl (one of the six Mirrorball Trophy winners who returned to Dancing with the Stars for the anniversary special).
