Lamine Yamal was injured when he converted a penalty in Barcelona’s Spanish league victory over Celta Vigo.
After Yamal scored Barcelona’s first goal in the 40th minute on Wednesday, he immediately turned to the bench and signaled his injury.

Barcelona’s narrow victory took them back to the top of the table, nine points behind rivals Real Madrid, who beat Alaves 2-1 on Tuesday.
Spain forward Yamal, who will be crucial to his team’s chances at this summer’s World Cup, fell to the ground and appeared to grab the back of his left leg as teammates arrived to celebrate.
Yamal left the scene voluntarily after being examined by doctors. He had a brief conversation with coach Hansi Flick on the sideline before entering the locker room tunnel alone.
Yamal, 18, is set to make his World Cup debut in June with Spain’s squad for the 2026 tournament.
Barcelona travel to Getafe on Saturday, while Real Madrid return to action against Real Betis on Friday.
Third-placed Villarreal are 12 points behind Real but have a game in hand, as they face Real Oviedo on Thursday.
Atletico Madrid, who advanced to the Champions League semi-finals, lost 2-3 to 16th place Elche.
Atlético, who face Arsenal in the first leg of the last-four tie on April 29, are eight points behind Betis, who are fourth and final in La Liga to qualify for the Champions League, and four points behind Villarreal.
