Housing starts numbers will be released at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday. CNBC TV’s housing correspondent Diana Orrick will be covering the details and the impact on stocks throughout the day. Toll Brothers is up about 18% in one month. The stock rose 7% in June and is down 11% from its February high. Hovnanian is up about 25% in one month and about 11% in one week. The stock is still down 26% from its September high. DR Horton rose 5.4% in June. The stock has risen 14.5% over the past month, but is still down 16% from its September high. Lennar was flat in June, but rose 9% for the month. The stock is down 37% from its September high. Pulte Group rose 11.5% over the month. The stock rose about 4% in June and is down 15% from February’s highs. DHI 1M Mountain DR Horton last month began trading SpaceX options on Cboe on Tuesday. CNBC will have more details from our guy in the options pit, Oliver Rennick. On SpaceX’s second day of trading, shares rose nearly 20% to close at $192.50. The current market capitalization is $2.5 trillion. For comparison, Amazon is $2.6 trillion. Workday’s Annual Meeting stock price is down 47% in one year. Workday stock peaked in September 2025, but has fallen 48% since then. Of the analysts tracked by FactSet, 22 rate it a buy or overweight, while 21 rate it a hold. Shares fell 0.9% on Monday to close at $129.60. The average price target is $173.56. WDAY 1Y Mountain Workday Stocks Over the Past Year Energy Oil is back in the low $80s: West Texas Intermediate futures were recently trading around $81 per barrel. This is still more than 20% higher than the situation on the last trading day of February, on the eve of the Iran war. The S&P Energy sector fell 7.3% in the month. It has fallen 12.5% from its March 27 high. ExxonMobil is down 20% from its March 30 high. The stock’s closing price on Monday was just under $141. Chevron closed at $180.40 per share. The stock is down 16% from its March 30 high. Market Check The Russell 2000 hit a new high on Monday. It rose 6% in one month. The NYSE Composite hit a new all-time high. It rose by about 7.3% in three months. The Dow Jones Industrial Average hit new highs. The index rose about 11% in three months. The Nasdaq 100 is down 0.7% from its high. The S&P 500 index is down 0.87% from its high.
