Teddi Mellencamp takes his health seriously.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum shared that during her ongoing treatment for stage 4 cancer, her doctor refused to prescribe GLP-1 for weight loss.
On the April 23 episode of the Two T’s podcast, Teddi revealed that he asked his doctor if he could start weight loss drugs himself after guest podcast co-host Dolores Catania revealed that he was “all in” on weight loss drugs.
“I wanted to let you know that I asked my cancer doctor,” said the All In with Teddi founder. “I’m a health and wellness coach and I’m dying of cancer. I gained weight because of the steroids, and I was getting bigger because of the steroids, so I asked my doctor if I could take GLP-1.”
She added, “And he said, ‘No!'”
Dolores lamented that Teddy was refused medication.
“I’m really disappointed that someone told you no,” the Real Housewives of New Jersey star said, “but I don’t know if I’ll listen!”
Teddy, 44, who has children Slate, 12, Cruz, 11, and Dove, six, with ex Edwin Arroyave, joked that if she really wanted to take GLP-1, there were other ways to get it.
