Just watching this teaser over and over again will make you want to be a goldfish.
The highly anticipated fourth season premiere of Ted Lasso has officially been released, confirming the August 5th premiere date and giving us a preview of what to expect when eternal optimist Ted (Jason Sudeikis) returns to London.
This time, Ted takes on a new challenge: coaching a Division 2 women’s soccer team. How do residents of Richmond upon Thames feel about his return?
“Welcome back, Coach,” one resident wearing an AFC Richmond scarf tells Ted in the April 28 teaser. “It’s too bad you’re coaching so many girls, you pervert.”
But if the first three seasons of Ted Lasso have taught viewers anything, it’s that all it takes is a little faith to change hearts and minds.
Other moments teased in the one-minute preview include a seemingly awkward reunion between former lovers Keeley Jones (Juno Temple) and Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein) in front of Higgins (Jeremy Swift), and an apparently rekindled romance between Rebecca (Hannah Waddingham) and attractive foreigner Matthijs (Mateo van der Glein).
