The “Espresso” singer was granted a temporary restraining order on June 1 against a man she claims stalked her and tried to break into her home.

The restraining order also prohibits Applegate from coming near Carpenter’s workplace or vehicle.
A hearing is scheduled for June 17, at which point the interim order will expire, according to the documents.
Eh! The News reached out to Carpenter’s representatives for comment, but did not receive a response. Eh! Applegate has not been able to find a lawyer.
Carpenter filed for a civil harassment restraining order against Applegate in Los Angeles County Superior Court on May 29, according to court documents obtained by E! News that Applegate allegedly tried to break into her home on May 23rd.
