Robert Irwin’s mother Terri Irwin reveals whether she will appear on ‘Dancing with the Stars’
The Irwin family may one day add a third Mirror Ball trophy to their collection.
In fact, Terri Irwin (whose children Robert Irwin and Bindi Irwin won their respective seasons of Dancing with the Stars) shared her thoughts on potentially hanging up her dancing shoes and appearing on the ABC reality series in the future.
“I will consider the petition,” the 61-year-old Australian conservationist exclusively told E! News in a joint interview with his son at the 3rd Annual Steve Irwin Gala held at the Bellagio in Las Vegas on May 2. “We will get back to you within five to seven business days.”
“I’m honored to be asked if I’d like to do it because this is a great thing,” she continued. ”I remember Bindi saying, “You know what? “This is the closest thing to flying you’ll ever get.” It feels free. It’s a feeling of euphoria. That’s amazing. ”
In fact, the TV personality expressed awe at the professional dancer’s athletic ability as she leads her celebrity partner through the ballroom.
“When they see you, they often just grab and bite and shake you around a little bit,” Terry explained. “Dancing has to be the most athletic and incredibly emotional experience ever, so I think it’s going to be something really special.”
