Robert Irwin and Terri Irwin share update on Bindi Irwin’s health amid battle with endometriosis
Bindi Irwin is on the mend.
In fact, her brother Robert Irwin and mother Terri Irwin said the wildlife conservationist is doing well despite her ongoing health battle with endometriosis.
“Bindi is so much better now,” Terry exclusively told E! News in a joint interview with his son at the 3rd Annual Steve Irwin Gala held at the Bellagio in Las Vegas on May 2nd. “I mean, things like traveling a lot are a little difficult for her at the moment, so we’ll probably be here next year to celebrate this great night.”
They added that Bindi, who has five-year-old daughter Grace with husband Chandler Powell, has been attending events “in high spirits” and is also returning to wildlife conservation work.
“She’s just staying a little closer to home this year,” she added. “So, ironically, it’s easier for her to feed the crocodiles at home.”
And as you can imagine, it’s not easy.
“Keep in mind that at Australia Zoo, we have 500 people on our team. We have about 500,000 acres of conservation land. Someone has to hold down the fort. So Bindi is doing a great job in that regard,” Robert interjected.
