Mika Abdallah is starting a new chapter.
The Off Campus star and Jake Short, who were engaged in 2025, have broken up, her rep has confirmed.
A rep for Abdallah told Us Weekly: “With all the attention paid to Mika’s personal life lately, it would be disrespectful not to mention that she and Jake are no longer together.”
The statement continued: “They continue to support each other and maintain a friendly relationship, and we ask that everyone respect their privacy and respect.”
Abdallah, 26, and Short, 29, co-starred in the 2022 film Sex Appeal, playing friends-turned-lovers, before they started dating outside of the movie.
Their romance was subtly displayed in regular Instagram dumps on both of their feeds, and in May 2025, Short’s manager, Brian Medavoy, shared an Instagram post confirming that his client and Abdallah were engaged.
“Yesterday was a great day celebrating the next chapter for my longtime client Jake Short and his fiancée Mika Abdallah,” Medavoy captioned a carousel of images from the garden party. “It’s been so fun watching your journey from the set to the real world. This is forever.”
