“I’m a worker bee,” explained the actress, who has been a star of movies and prestige television for 40 years. “I love working in this world, I love providing work for others if I can, and I love doing that work.”
The Nine Perfect Strangers alum also made a rare mention of her separation from Urban when talking about exploring America, sharing, “I love that I’ve seen it in a very specific way. I live in California and I’ve seen everything being filmed in different states, but my ex-husband also traveled all over America on tour buses. It’s actually extraordinary because of the people.”
But when she’s not working, it’s her daughters who run her world.
For example, she would like to return to the stage someday, particularly off-Broadway or regional theater, but “now is not the time” for such a time-consuming endeavor. As she told Variety, “I have to take care of these kids. It’s kind of in my ‘future’ folder. I have to fill this summer with them.”
And while marking her calendar for the Sept. 11 release of Practical Magic 2, she promised, “I’m going to be in full witch mode,” take a look at how Kidman has changed on screen over the years.
