Hayley Williams reveals Morgan Wallen is the ‘racist country singer’ she references in new song
Morgan Wallen thought you should know he was upset.
The “Thought You Should Know” singer’s frustrations grew during her Still the Problem tour when she encountered technical problems at a May 29 concert in Denver, Colorado, causing her to knock over a piano on stage.
After Morgan finished an acoustic performance of his song “Sand in My Boots,” he pushed down and broke a piano that appeared to have malfunctioned during the concert, according to a video circulating on social media.
Gasps and cheers from fans could be heard at Mile High Stadium’s Empower Field in the shocking moment after the top of the piano smashed into pieces on the hard stage floor.
After a clip of the violent moment went viral on social media, online users criticized him for being a bad boy.
In the comments section of a TikTok shared by Country Central, one user responded, “Maturity at its best,” while another wrote, “What class!”
But the internet appears to be divided on whether the country music star overreacted to the technical difficulties. After all, one fan added, “Rock stars have been doing this with their guitars for decades.”
