‘The Real Housewives of Rhode Island’ star Liz McGraw shockingly announces exit from the show after just one season
Real Housewives of Rhode Island fans didn’t see this cast shakeup coming.
Shortly after the debut season of the Bravo reality series ended, Liz McGraw announced that she would not be returning for season two.
“I am so grateful for the amazing opportunity to be on this show,” the 56-year-old wrote on Instagram on July 1. “As we begin filming Season 2, I have decided to take a step back and focus on my family, work, and my passions.”
Liz denied speculation that drama with cast members Alicia Carmody, Jo-Ellen Tiberi, Ashley Iaconetti, Kelsey Swanson, Rosie DeMare and Lula Pontarelli was the reason for her unexpected exit.
“The RHORI cast is an incredible group of women who have created something special,” the businesswoman continued. “I will be watching next season and rooting for the continued success of this franchise.”
Liz concluded her message by saying, “For now, I’m looking forward to enjoying our little corner of the world from behind the camera.”
