In 2020, pop star Lily Allen and Stranger Things actor David Harbor got married and bought a 19th century brownstone in Brooklyn, New York.
Five years later, the couple has gone through a public separation and put their townhouse on the market for just under $8 million. Carl Gambino of Compass Gambino Group holds the $7.995 million listing.
The 20-foot-wide home was designed by designer Billy Cotton and MADE architect Ben Bischoff. There are 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms on 4 floors.
“From its stately façade to its sophisticated interiors, this home is layered with traditional British charm, contemporary Brooklyn sensibilities, and rich Italian influences,” the listing states.

The main level of the home includes a living room, adjoining kitchen and dining area. Upstairs is a full-floor primary suite with a fireplace and two walk-in closets. The third floor has two guest rooms, a skylit lounge and a separate home office.
The garden level includes a guest suite, powder room, and casual living room with fireplace and direct access to the garden. The basement level of the home includes a gym, laundry room, and storage area.
Located in Brooklyn’s Carroll Gardens neighborhood, you’ll be close to public transportation and many shops and restaurants.
The Brooklyn townhouse is four stories high.

In 2023, Allen and Haber profiled the interior of the brownstone for Architectural Digest.
“This neighborhood is historically Italian-American, so the idea of doing something with an Italian flavor wasn’t that far-fetched,” Allen said. “I’ve always been interested in interiors and have always built my own homes, but this was a big job and I needed help. Together, Billy and I set out to get something weird and wonderful.”
Cotton told Architectural Digest that Allen wanted the house to be as quirky as possible.
“Lily was the one who really set the tone and drove the show. Every time I tried to calm it down, she kept pushing it further,” he said.
Haber echoed Cotton’s comments about Allen’s design style.
“Lily is someone who lives with color more deeply than most. Her sense of style is bold, silly, fun, quirky and very exciting,” he said.
Allen and Harbor’s home was put on the market just days after the pop star released her latest album, “West End Girl.” This is Allen’s first album in seven years, and it provides intimate details about his relationship with Harbor and the dissolution of their marriage.
