Mormon Housewives star Leila Taylor reveals she is undergoing treatment for her battle with an eating disorder
Layla Taylor has finally revealed the truth.
The Secret Wives star has come out as bisexual, making her sexuality public for the first time.
“Honestly, this is something that for a long time in my life I didn’t really know how to deal with officially,” Leila said on the June 29 episode of the On Purpose With Jay Shetty podcast. “I’m gay and bi, and I date both women and men.”
The 25-year-old, who was raised as a Mormon, detailed how her upbringing in religious Utah prevented her from openly expressing her attraction to both sexes.
Leila, who has two children with ex-husband Clayton Wessel, said of host Jay Shetty, “I didn’t fit in as a child for a variety of reasons, even as an adult.” “As a black girl who grew up in a predominantly white neighborhood, I was already very visible among my peers and embraced it more than I thought I would.”
“I’ve always had that thought and I kind of laugh about it now,” she continued, “because I used to watch shows like ‘Pretty Little Liars’ and watch Shay Mitchell kiss girls and stuff like that. I was like, ‘Wait, why is that hot?’
