Preston Pippen is getting serious about his newfound reality TV fame.
As it turns out, Scottie Pippen and Larsa Pippen’s son was well-prepared for the drama that came with starring in Netflix’s new docuseries Calabasas Confidential, thanks to some sage advice from his Real Housewives of Miami mom.
“She just wanted to be me,” Preston told E! News’ exclusive interview with Erin Lim Rose. “Don’t really trust anyone. Even if we’re all friends, people will act differently once they get in front of the camera.”
And Larsa’s warning couldn’t have been more accurate.
The 23-year-old added: “And it happened. So I’m glad I took it.”
Of course, joining the series meant Preston had to address his famous family’s headline-grabbing history, including his multimillion-dollar divorce from the NBA legend that was finalized in 2021 (the exes have four children in addition to Scottie’s four older children from previous relationships).
