Now that her divorce is final and both of her children are in college, Christy is focused on moving on to the next chapter.
“I’m excited to see what’s around the corner or what the future holds,” she said. people. “There’s still a lot left in life, not just to start dating or start a new relationship, but just to enjoy where I am personally and the opportunities that lie ahead.”
“I have no regrets about the past,” she continued. “We have a beautiful family and great memories, but we are looking forward to starting a new family.”
For the two-time figure skating world champion, it also means supporting her two daughters as they begin their own lives.
“Being a mom and watching my kids grow and pursue their passions is so rewarding and fun,” she said. “As a mother, it’s bittersweet because I feel like my kids are growing up so fast. I remember when they were toddlers, when they started elementary school, and those moments so vividly.”
“But it’s so fulfilling to see how they’ve grown and are now chasing their dreams,” she added. “It’s rewarding to see them spread their wings.”
