Kelly, a pediatric nurse who has been running a parenting blog for several years, said her young son wandered behind the car as she and her daughter pulled out of the driveway on the way to a dance performance.
“I was driving,” Kelly wrote. “A neighbor immediately intervened and took Lily away, and we rushed to the emergency room.”
