What does Peter think about Julie going public with intimate details about their courtship? Suffice it to say, her 2026 memoir, Love Producer, documents their affair, which upset the Air Force officer.
“I have moved on from this point in my life and am ultimately responsible for my choices,” the 34-year-old commented on Instagram last month in response to the book. “All I have to say is this: I have asked Julie many times to keep personal and private matters private. This was no longer about a TV show.”
But Julie insisted that Peter was more supportive of her book than his words might suggest.
“My guess is that Peter probably has some unresolved wounds from the show that are probably coming back through all of this,” she shared. “Four years later, when I finally called him to have a vulnerable conversation with him, I said, ‘Listen, you probably have some grudges against me as a producer. And now that I’m out of that world, if you want to talk about it, I’m happy to talk about it.’
“He said, ‘No, no, no, I really respect you,'” Julie continued. “He even said I was the best one this season.”
