Katy Perry wowed the crowd at the 2026 World Cup opening ceremony.

The “Roar” hitmaker, along with Tyra, Future, Anitta, Lisa and Rema, wowed the crowd ahead of the U.S. Men’s National Team’s first game against Paraguay on June 12 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

In an amazing performance, katie—Who wore it? Stella McCartney’s silver sequin dress— shared the stage with 10-year-old singer Tius for a hilarious duet of her 2024 song “Wonder.”

As the two sang and danced to the song, flags from different countries waved in a circle around them.

Capturing the big moment, Katie ended her performance by lifting Tius—wearing a blue jersey— into her arms as the duo smiles excitedly.

The “California Gurls” singer recently made her red carpet debut with the former Canadian Prime Minister. Justin Trudeau— revealed that she will be part of the lineup for the May 8 ceremony.

“I’m so excited to be performing at the @fifaworldcup 2026 opening ceremony in Los Angeles on June 12th!” she wrote on Instagram. “Stay tuned for more information. Don’t let this be #TheOneThatGotAway.”

But the celebration in Los Angeles is just the beginning of an epic World Cup showdown. For the first time in FIFA World Cup history, the FIFA World Cup began on June 11 in Mexico City and featured three opening ceremonies.
