CNBC’s Jim Kramer said his latest deal with Openai’s Chipmaker and gave his opinion on the Accelerating Artificial Intelligence weapons race AMD Make ChatGpt owners more competitive.

“When Openai gains the power of this computing, all hyperscalers are vulnerable,” he said. “And given the number of chips it’s buying, I think this company can chase everyone’s business.”

The companies announced on Monday that Openai has reached a deal that allows it to acquire 10% stake in AMD. Openai said it will deploy 6 Gigawatts of AMD GPUs across multi-year and multi-generational hardware. Openai said the deal was worth billions of dollars but did not disclose the exact amount.

AMD skyrocketed during daytime sessions in response to news, S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite Record high prices. Stocks rose 23.71% and continued to rise in long-term trading.

Kramer expressed his faith in the legitimacy of the AI ​​boom, saying he believes that key players will enjoy the rewards of high-priced investments.

Cramer pointed out that Openai is doing similar transactions nvidiaa $4 trillion chip maker, one of the biggest drivers of the AI ​​boom. He suggested that Openai “appears to consider AMD’s chips to be equal to Nvidia’s,” and that he “requires computing power to meet demand, as demand is overwhelmed.”

Openai and AMD did not respond immediately to requests for comment.
