YouTuber Jesse Ridgway says his wife’s family encouraged them to break up after she had an abortion
Jesse Ridgway has always been part of Ashley Ridgway.
The YouTuber, known online as McGugger Nuggets, claimed that Ashley’s family encouraged her to end their marriage after he shared that he and his wife had terminated the pregnancy after the fetus tested positive for trisomy 21, a chromosomal abnormality that causes Down syndrome.
“She received a text message from her family accusing me of being abusive and of brainwashing her…an ultimatum to leave me immediately,” Jesse wrote on Facebook on June 8. “It’s such a bold statement that it boggles the mind due to delusion and lack of consideration.”
“Absolutely disgusting gossip and sordid talk between important people in her life as if they weren’t related by blood,” he added. “It’s just cowardly for them to accuse me of making decisions and controlling/manipulating her for all the years we’ve been together without any backbone.”
Meanwhile, Jesse says his parents were nothing but supportive after the surgery.
