A scene reminisced by Jennifer Aniston.
The Friends alum, who played Rachel Green on the hit NBC sitcom, made a rare comment about her ex-husband Brad Pitt while reflecting on the show’s iconic Thanksgiving-themed episode with former co-star Lisa Kudrow.
In a joint interview with Variety’s Actors on Actors published on June 3, Lisa told Jennifer, “The Thanksgiving episode was amazing.” “When Brad was in it, it was so funny.”
“I know,” Jennifer replied. “How interesting.”
In a conversation with a longtime friend, the Emmy winner continued to highlight the number of “movie stars,” including Brad, who guest starred on Friends.
“Brad, Bruce Willis, Julia Roberts, Isabella Rossellini,” she said. “There was a lot of Sean Penn.”
And Jennifer says that even though the celebrity guest stars are accomplished actors themselves, they were “always nervous.”
She added: “It was always interesting to see how nervous they were.”
Lisa agreed, noting that the acting style on Friends, which also starred Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and the late Matthew Perry, was different from what the guest actors were used to.
