Jamie King is headed for divorce after quietly getting married.
Austin Sosa filed for divorce from the Hart of Dixie alum on January 22, according to court records obtained by E! News for January 23rd.
Although neither of them has revealed the exact date of their marriage, Jamie confirmed his engagement to the investment banker in September, telling Heather McDonald on an episode of the Juicy Scoop podcast that the pair initially “met through mutual friends.”
According to the 46-year-old, Austin mentioned not one, but two engagement rings in response to the question. One has an emerald-cut diamond, one is set in platinum with two gemstones on each side, and there is also an heirloom that features round gemstones.
“In the best sense of the word, I feel like my engagement is about myself,” Jamie said in an interview with Us Weekly in October. “For me, engagement is really about love for yourself.”
At the time, Jamie said she was in no rush to move on as she wanted to focus more on her sons James, 12, and Leo, 10, who were at the center of her long-running custody battle with ex-husband Kyle Newman. (Jamie and Kyle settled for divorce in 2023, three years after their separation.)
