The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will hold a meeting to discuss the reasons for the team’s performance after the England tour concludes on July 19, general secretary Devajit Saikia announced on Friday.
“The BCCI is currently monitoring the performance of India’s T20 team and they have performed poorly in the ongoing series against England,” Saikia, who is in Edinburgh for the International Cricket Council’s annual conference, told AFP news agency in a telephone interview.

Saikia described the downturn as a temporary setback.
“This is not unusual and can happen in international cricket. We consider this to be a purely negative situation.”
