“Actually,” astrologer Aliza Kelly told E! magazine in an exclusive interview. News, “I can’t help but wonder who’s on the PR team.”
While experts admit that the 24-day optical illusion in which Mercury appears to reverse course is quite delicate (“emails are delayed, flights are canceled, and miscommunications appear out of nowhere”), the planet’s motion is a pretty important part of its orbit.
While we can’t make any promises right now, “this is an invitation to slow down,” the AstroloTea with Aliza Kelly podcaster explained to E! “Let’s be a little more granular and triple-check our work to make sure we’re on the right path before life picks up speed again.”
He added that this multi-week period is “particularly significant” because it occurs in the sign of Cancer, “because it falls at one of the biggest astrological turning points of 2026.”
For those who have never seen the stars, the founder of the Constellation Club mentions that Jupiter recently entered Leo. This is one of the many happenings in 2026 that she highlighted to E! And she predicted that it would “free us from sad girl energy.”
