Spain, Portugal and Morocco are co-hosting the tournament, but FIFA, which has the final say, has not said who will host the final match.

The president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation, Rafael Lousan, said Spain will host the final of the 2030 World Cup, which will be co-hosted with Portugal and Morocco.
Morocco want the match to be held at the Grand Stade Hassan II in Casablanca. The Grand Stade Hassan II is a large stadium currently under construction in the north of the city. But Louzan has other plans.

“Spain has proven its organizational ability over the years. Spain will be the leader of the 2030 World Cup, and the final of that World Cup will also be held here,” Lousan said late on Monday at an event organized by the Madrid Sports Writers’ Association.
Lousan did not name two possible venues for the match, such as Madrid’s Bernabéu or Barcelona’s Camp Nou.
When completed in late 2028, Casablanca’s new stadium is expected to seat 115,000 spectators. Fawzi Lekujar, president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), expressed last year his desire to watch the final against Spain in Casablanca.

Lousan also addressed the challenges Morocco faced during the African Cup of Nations, including the chaotic scenes in this month’s final between Senegal and Morocco.
The match, which Senegal won 1-0, was overshadowed by the suspension of the match due to fan confusion and player protests.
“Morocco is really transforming in every sense of the word with great stadiums,” Lousan said. “We have to recognize what went well. But the African Cup of Nations saw scenes that tarnished the image of world football.”
FIFA, FRMF and the Portuguese Football Federation did not respond to requests for comment on the venue for the final.
FIFA told Reuters last year that it was too early to decide on the venue for the 2030 final, noting that the host city for the 2026 World Cup final was announced just two years before the tournament. World football’s governing body has the final say on where matches are played.
