Bruce didn’t think another big love would be on the card for him after he and Demi divorced.
“I spent the last 10 years single, and most of the time I’m unhappy,” Die Hard Star told W in 2009. “In a dark place. I didn’t think being with others was the answer. But I was teasing myself.”
After he began seeing Emma, a 23-year-old junior, he said, “On my daily basis, my life has become much happier.”
They tied the knot on the beach at the Turks’ home with Caicos on March 21, 2009. Along with Rumer, Scouts and Tallurer, Demi was present with her then husband, Ashton Kutcher. (They split in 2011 after six years of marriage.)
Marking 17 years of unity on December 29, 2024, Emma had been openly speaking about the difficulties in her husband’s condition, but announced her “unconditional love” that fuels her.
“I feel blessed to know that, and it’s his fault,” she wrote. “I do that over and over again with a heartbeat.”
A few months later, after Bruce was diagnosed with aphasia and dementia, Emma co-founded Make Time Wellness, a supplement company focusing on brain health and prenatal health, and launched the Make Time Podcast.
“It’s important to use our voice,” Emma said E! News for 2023, “Because we create change through action, awareness and conversation.”
