David Harbor and Millie Bobby Brown are good friends.
Brown opened up about the situation after the actor reportedly made allegations of harassment and bullying while filming the fifth and final season of Stranger Things.
“It’s simple. We just broke it, fixed it, got everyone out of the way, talked to each other, and we were good to go,” Haber said in an interview published June 10. “Everyone is so afraid to talk about things these days. People are so afraid of being human.”
“It’s a shame, because I don’t know how to navigate this strange media world,” he continued. “But it was completely normal. We respect each other and always have.”
In fact, it’s the family bond between Brown, 22, and Harbor (who play Eleven and her adoptive father Jim Hopper, respectively) on and off screen that has allowed them to overcome previous misunderstandings.
“This is a show that’s been running for 10 years,” the 51-year-old explained. “We worked together for 10 years of her formative teenage years, playing father and daughter. I don’t know if you have family or friends who spend a lot of time together for 10 years. Sometimes there are arguments and disagreements.”
