A month after filing for divorce from Desmond Scott after 12 years of marriage, the TikToker has broken her silence about the divorce and shared how she’s dealing with her “unexpected new chapter.”
In a video shared to Instagram on January 29, Christy went grocery shopping for the “first time” with her estranged husband’s sons Vance, 7, and Westin, 6. This video blog brought new emotional weight after their public breakup.
“I’m literally shaking,” she said as she walked down the aisle. “I’m really nervous making this video, but my nervous system has also been affected. I’ve been feeling that way for the past month.”
And Christie’s mental state doesn’t just affect her daily activities with her children. The influencer also revealed that she plans to change the type of content she creates in the future.
“I don’t want to get emotional, but I feel like this is an opportunity for you to see a different side of me,” she explained. “Because you always think of my chaotic, humorous side, but I just can’t do that right now.”
She continued, “I want to share with you the raw, real, and ugly of how I’m transitioning.”
