Alexi Lalas made a shocking pass to James Corden.

The soccer analyst called the former Late Late Show host an unprofessional name while trying to promote his After Hours show with James Corden during a live World Cup pre-match broadcast.

“What do you guys call him?” Lalas asked co-hosts Rebecca Lowe, Thierry Henry and Zlatan Ibrahimovic about the comedian on June 12 on Fox. “It’s a full kit, right?”

While Lalas’ dig seemed unintentional, it certainly threw his fellow host for a loop, causing him to clarify, “Is he all dressed up and ready to go?”

Henry, clearly surprised, interjected, “Did he just say that?”

Meanwhile, Lowe pointed out that Lalas wants to keep the secret clear with Fox executives because the vulgar term is better known overseas.

“Luckily we’re on American TV,” she said, noting that “the W word on British TV” is a big no-no.

Corden found himself on the receiving end of Lalas’ jokes, but he also delivered one or two that didn’t quite hit home with the audience. After all, he ruffled a few feathers after making a NSFW joke about legendary actress Judi Dench and famous immunologist Anthony Fauci.
