West Indies paceman Greaves becomes the first player in Test history to bowl five consecutive wicket maidens.

West Indies all-rounder Justin Greaves made Test cricket history on Monday by becoming the first bowler in a recorded era to take wickets in five consecutive maiden overs in the opening Test against Pakistan at Taroba.
The 32-year-old posted a record of 5 wins and 27 losses on the third day, helping swing the World Test Championship contest in favor of the hosts.

Greaves surpassed the record of four consecutive wicket maidens set by former England fast bowler Stuart Broad against South Africa in Johannesburg in 2016.
Playing his 17th Test, the Barbadian claimed his maiden five-wicket haul as Pakistan were bowled out for 282 against West Indies’ first-innings total of 311.
“When I came on, captain Roston Chase told me to ‘keep being disciplined in what you’re doing’ and see if I can pick up wickets for the team,” Greaves said.
“The ball got pinched and I got some reward. Every time I get the ball, the team sees me as a solid player for the team and tries to defuse the situation.”
“I’m really happy to have picked up five wickets for the first time in Test cricket, but there’s still a lot of work to be done in this game.”
Pakistan were in command at 244-3 and Shan Masood had reached a century before Greaves caused a dramatic collapse.
The seamer dismissed Masood for 109 and then dismissed Aamer Jamal, Ali Usman and Mohammad Rizwan for no runs in successive maiden overs and Pakistan were struggling at 267-8 at lunch.
Greaves caught Mohammad Abbas after the break and achieved a historic feat by taking five wickets in his fifth consecutive maiden over. Pakistan were eventually bowed out for 282, trailing by 29 runs in the first innings.
Pakistan fought back later in the day, closing the West Indies to 126-7 in their second innings. Still, the host team held an overall lead of 155 runs heading into the fourth day.
