LeBron James’ wife Savannah James addresses ‘crazy’ criticism after leaving Lakers
LeBron James is hoping for the best with his next big move.
Two weeks after the NBA champions announced he would be leaving the Los Angeles Lakers after eight seasons, James shared his thoughts on what’s next and his career goals overall.
As he explained at Fanatics Fest New York on July 16, James is in the “finishing phase of his journey” after 23 years in the NBA.
And no matter how he ends up, the 41-year-old hopes his fans and doubters will join him in his next chapter.
“Wherever I end up in the fall, hopefully if you’re a ride-or-die LeBron fan, if you’ve been with me since day one, you’ll be along for the ride there,” James said. “If you’re a ride-or-die LeBron hater, that’s what you do anyway. So we’re looking forward to meeting you too.”
“I saw it on social media the other day, and no matter where I go, maybe on a plane or anywhere else, I don’t matter anymore,” he continued. So it’s just a little bit of motivation. ”
