Cara Delevingne addresses rumors of dating Amber during Johnny Depp’s marriage
Cara Delevingne talks about rumors about her relationship with Amber Heard.
The supermodel previously accused Johnny Depp of having an affair with his then-wife, but explained the Pirates of the Caribbean star misunderstood their strong bond.
“I think he was pretty crazy with jealousy,” Delevingne told Louis Theroux on the June 29 episode of Louis Theroux’s podcast, adding, “There was nothing going on at that point.”
She added that Depp began to believe that he and Heard were having an affair after the two women filmed the 2013 film London Fields, in which Depp had a brief cameo.
Depp and Heard began dating in 2011 and married in 2014. After 15 months of marriage, they broke up in 2015, and their divorce was finalized the following year.
After their breakup, Delevingne admitted to dating Heard.
“I think it happened after they got divorced,” Delevingne said, explaining, “[Heard and I]had been close for a long time, and then when we were getting divorced, we got tangled up.”
