Christina Applegate has been sharing candid updates about her health.
Years after disclosing his multiple sclerosis diagnosis, the married alumnus shared how his illness left him bedridden due to chronic pain. But even though Christina is battling MS, the time she spends with her 15-year-old daughter Sadie, who she shares with her husband Martin Lenoble, during school drop-offs is worth the fight.
“I want to take her with me. That’s what I love most,” Christina told People magazine in an interview published on February 24th. “This is the only time we can spend together.”
“I just say to myself, ‘Let’s just get her to safety so we can go home and go back to bed,'” the 54-year-old explained. “And that’s what I’m doing.”
Since being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that affects the central nervous system, the Dead to Me actress has been candid about how going public with her illness in 2021 has affected her life.
“My life doesn’t end with a bow,” she explained. “People’s lives can be, for lack of a better word, shitty, shitty sometimes. So I’m just being as honest and raw as I can.”
