Nancy Guthrie’s health condition revealed, requires medication to survive
As the search continues for Nancy, authorities have stressed that she needs to take daily medication to survive, something she likely doesn’t have.
“This woman is an 84-year-old woman who suffers from several physical illnesses, has physical problems, and requires medication,” Nanos said at a press conference on February 2. “Medications can be fatal if not taken within 24 hours.”
“So we implore anyone who knows anything about this, anyone who has seen anything, anyone who has heard anything, to contact us,” he continued. “Call 911. We don’t need another tragic ending. We need help.”
Although Nancy’s physical health has been limited for some time, Nanos emphasized that her cognitive abilities are very strong.
“Nancy Guthrie is a wonderful and healthy soul,” Nanos explained. “This is not due to dementia. She is sharp as a tack. The family wants everyone to know that this is not just someone who wanders. Her physical limitations are due to age alone.”
As the investigation into Nancy’s disappearance continues, Nanos expressed his hope for Nancy’s safe return.
“I hope she is found safely,” he stressed. “But we can’t ignore what’s in front of us.”
