Ariana Grande loves the way Ricky Alvarez cheers her on.
The professional dancer supported the Grammy Award winner at a concert on his Eternal Sunshine Tour in Brooklyn on July 18, following speculation that the two had rekindled their romance.
In footage shared to TikTok, Alvarez, 35, dances to Grande’s 2024 hit “imperfect for you” while waving a cellphone flashlight in the air. Alvarez, who wore a blue flannel shirt and black beanie at the show, changed positions for Grande, and the clip also showed him taking photos and videos of the “Side to Side” singer.
And it’s no surprise that the choreographer tried to mess up the moves at the latest stop on Grande’s world tour. After all, romance rumors started flying that the two, who dated from 2015 to 2016, rekindled their romance after Grande changed the lyrics to “Thank U, Next,” which usually include the line, “I wrote some songs about Ricky/Now I listen to them and laugh.”
The Wicked star changed the second half of the line to “We always find a way back” during a July 13 concert.
