Jordan Love passed for 360 yards and three touchdowns, outscoring former teammate Aaron Rodgers, leading the Green Bay Packers to a 35-25 victory over the host Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night.

Love, who replaced Rodgers in Green Bay for three seasons, tied Brett Favre’s franchise record of 20 consecutive complete games set in 2007. He had a near-perfect performance for the Packers (5-1-1), scoring 29 of his 37 points overall.

Chris Boswell kicked four field goals for the Steelers (4-3), including three of 50 yards or more. DK Metcalf and Roman Wilson scored on receptions.

Tucker Craft caught two scoring passes and set career bests for Green Bay with seven receptions and 143 yards. For the Packers, Josh Jacobs ran for a touchdown and Savion Williams had a scoring reception.

Rodgers couldn’t beat his old club

Rodgers, 41, started as Favre’s backup in 2005 and played 18 seasons with the Packers before leaving under less than amicable circumstances. However, ahead of the game, Rodgers expressed gratitude for his time in Green Bay and made it clear that this matchup was not a “revenge game.”

Steelers safety DeShon Elliott injured his left knee in the third quarter and was taken to the locker room.

Green Bay scored 21 points in the final quarter, going ahead on the first play of the quarter when Jacobs scored on a 3-yard run near the right end. Love made a two-point throw to Romeo Doubes to give the Packers a 22-19 lead.

Green Bay added another point when Love completed a short throw to Craft, who completed it 24 yards for a touchdown to make it 29-19 with 10:57 remaining.

Brandon McManus hit field goals of 28 and 25 yards with 3:59 remaining to extend the Packers’ lead to 16.

Rodgers threw a 21-yard touchdown pass to Wilson with 2:07 left, but the ensuing two-point conversion pass failed.

After Love took his final knee, Rogers trotted out to greet him and hug him. Packers coach Matt LaFleur also hugged Rodgers.

Green Bay trailed by nine points at halftime, but Love’s 8-yard touchdown pass to Williams cut the score to 16-14. Love and Craft teamed up on a 59-yard pass play during the drive, which injured Elliott, who immediately grabbed his knee.

Boswell made a 56-yard field goal with 5:34 left in the third quarter, extending Pittsburgh’s lead to five.

Earlier, Boswell hit field goals of 56, 50 and 48 yards to help the Steelers take a 16-7 lead.

With 5:05 left in the first quarter, Love completed a 16-yard scoring pass to Craft, giving the Packers a 7-3 lead.

Boswell’s two field goals in the second quarter gave Pittsburgh a 9-7 lead, and Rodgers completed a 2-yard touchdown pass to Metcalf with 34 seconds left in the second half.
