Emma Roberts’ father Eric Roberts clears the air about their ‘complicated’ relationship
Eric Roberts and Julia Roberts’ apparent bad blood was just a rumor.
The Runaway Train actor addressed speculation about a possible rift between him and his sister, sharing a rare glimpse into their sibling dynamic.
“That’s not true. It was never true. We’re okay,” Eric shared on the April 14 episode of the podcast “It Happened in Hollywood.” “Like people, we have our differences, but we really like and respect each other.”
In addition to highlighting that she is a “great actor” and “a great human being,” he also praised her role as a mother of three children.
“She’s even an amazing mother,” added Julia, who has twins Hazel and Finneus, 21, and son Henry, 18, with husband Danny Moder. “That’s the hardest job.”
Eric made his point about the 58-year-old, adding: “She’s a cool woman and I like her.”
But like most siblings, while their relationship is solid, they don’t always see eye to eye on the little things. “The only problem we have is that we disagree about something every day, but that’s not the problem,” he said.
