Welcome to the Cannes Film Festival, John Travolta.
And the Saturday Night Fever star stepped out in a markedly different style this time around, attending the May 15 screening of Karma with his late wife Kelly Preston’s 26-year-old daughter Ella Bleu Travolta, wearing round glasses and a white beret.
John, who has never worn glasses on the red carpet, wore a white collared shirt with a black three-piece suit and hat. The 72-year-old accessorized with a pocket square and black patent leather loafers, completing the ensemble with a white tie.
Meanwhile, Ella opted for a sleeveless black evening dress with velvet detailing and accessorized with Chopard jewelry and black pointed-toe heels.
This will be John’s first appearance at the prestigious film event since 2018, when he premiered Gotti and celebrated the 40th anniversary of Grease. John, who is also the father of 15-year-old Benjamin Travolta and his late son Jett Travolta, returned to the festival this year to screen his directorial debut, Propeller One-Way Night Coach, and was surprised to receive the prestigious Palme d’Or from Cannes director Thierry Frémaux.
