Joaquin Phoenix and Rooney Mara have a rare red carpet date night at Venice Film Festival 2025

Joaquin Phoenix and Rooney Mara are walking line Red carpet.

The Oscar winner and social network star came out on a rare date night at the 2025 Venice Film Festival for the premiere of Hindrajab’s voice on September 3rd.

For the outing, 50-year-old Joaquin stood next to 40-year-old Rooney, so he kept himself chic in an all-black suit in matching dress shoes.

At one point, the Joker actor wrapped his arms around his partner’s waist as the couple whose executives produced Hind Rajab’s voice along with Brad Pitt. He posed with film writer and director Ben Hania and cast members Motazu Maries and James Wilson.

And Joaquin and Rooney didn’t just make waves while walking the red carpet. After the screening of the 2025 drama telling the story of a five-year-old Palestinian girl killed by the IDF during the invasion of Israel’s Gaza Strip, the audience gave the pair and the rest of the crew a 21-minute standing ovation.
