For Gigi, who started walking the runways for Marc Jacobs, Chanel, and Victoria’s Secret when she was 18, the most important gift she can give her daughter is a sense of normalcy.
That’s why she made the decision to keep Kai low profile on her Instagram page and other social media platforms.
“Our hope is that when she becomes an adult she can choose how she presents herself to the world,” the model, who celebrated her 31st birthday on April 23, explained to her more than 75 million Instagram followers in 2021. “And be able to live as normally as possible, like her childhood, without having to worry about a public image that she didn’t choose.”
Gigi, who has been dating Bradley Cooper since 2023, still owns a penthouse in New York City, but spends most of her time at the Pennsylvania farmhouse she bought about two hours away.
Both Zayn and Zayn agreed that the country town “would be a great place to raise a family because she has so many things to do,” the musician told L’Officiel magazine in March 2024. “So we spend a lot of time outside.”
Although Gigi takes pains to hide her daughter’s face, her Instagram feed is full of snapshots of her outdoor adventures, including horseback riding, playing in the water and exploring a nearby stream.
