Meghan Markle remains unfazed.
After the Duchess of Sussex wore the green one-shoulder dress she originally wore in Variety’s 2022 holiday season episode, “With Love,” comments on a 2024 podcast resurfaced criticizing journalists for not returning clothing from past filming sessions.
However, Meghan’s representatives firmly denied speculation surrounding the $1,695 Galvin Ushuaia dress and how she came into possession of it.
“Any insinuation that the photo was taken without the full knowledge and consent of the stylists and their respective teams on set is not only completely false, but also highly defamatory,” a spokesperson for Meghan told E! News in a statement. “All stored items were stored with full transparency and in accordance with contractual arrangements.”
The Suits alum, who shares sons Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 4, with husband Prince Harry, has long talked about how intentional she was when it came to designer bargains, especially when she was a member of the royal family.
