Deloitte announced on Monday a contract will take humanity’s artificial intelligence assistant Claude to more than 470,000 employees worldwide.

The deployment will be the largest enterprise deployment ever, based on the partnership that the two companies first announced last year.

Provides consulting, tax and auditing services, Deloitte is one of the 300,000 business customers accumulated over the four years since the startup was founded.

“We’re investing a significant amount of money in this partnership. Whether it’s financial or simply working on this is just an engineering resource,” Paul Smith, chief commercial officer of humanity, told CNBC in an interview.

The company refused to disclose financial details of the transaction.

Over the next few months, Deloitte will build and deploy different Claude “persona” for a wide range of employee groups, from accountants to software developers. Staff can also get support from experts within Deloitte’s Claude Centre of Excellence.

Ideally, exposing Deloitte employees to AI can help them enjoy personal benefits, such as increased productivity, and can also encourage them to think about how technology can be used to transform other industries and sectors.

“Our clients obviously want to know: ‘Are you using it too?” So we can advise them more, we can become more reliable,” Bawa said. “That’s why we said we had to start ourselves, as we continue to let our clients rethink their future.”

Deloitte’s Claude deployment in more than 150 countries is due to humanity’s efforts to strengthen its global presence.

The startup said in September it would triple the international workforce this year, with new executive Chris Xiauri leading the expansion.

That same month, humanity unveiled its latest AI model, the Claude Sonnet 4.5, closing its $13 billion funding with a $183 billion money valuation. Amazon– Backed startups include Openai and Google For customers.

“We’re still pretty busy,” Smith said. “But it’s busy.”
