At least five civilians have been killed after Russia launched drones, missiles and guided air bombs in Ukraine overnight on Sunday.

Moscow has sent over 50 ballistic missiles and around 500 drones to nine regions of Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Sunday morning.

Four people were killed in LVIV in drone and missile attacks, according to regional officials and Ukrainian emergency services. Historic western cities are often considered heaven from Eastern battles and destruction. At least four people were injured, according to emergency services.

The strike left the two districts without electricity and public transport that were shut down for several hours early Sunday morning, Mayor Andri Sadowy reported. He added that after the strike, business complexes in the suburbs of LVIV were on fire.

In a city in the southern part of Zaporidia, night air attacks killed civilian women and injured nine other people, including a 16-year-old girl, reported regional governor Ivan Fedorov. He said Russia attacked with drones and guided air bombs.

Fedorov said the strike destroyed residential buildings and left around 73,000 households in Zaporia and surrounding areas in the powerless area.
