For Andrew Bostint, there is no age limit to following his dreams. At 100, he is still competing in bodybuilding.

According to his wife Francine, Bosunt has been in training for the past 87 years and began when he was only 12 years old.

“I believe he is the oldest bodybuilder in the world and is still trained,” Francine wrote in a post shared on the National Gym Association Inc. Facebook account.

Bostinto is the founder and CEO of the NGA, a non-profit bodybuilding association, and Francine serves as president of the organization.

At 17, Bostint was already modeling fitness magazines.

“I enjoy training and people ask me when I stop, and they say it stops when I stop breathing,” Bostint said earlier this year in an interview about Muscle & Fitness, a magazine focusing on fitness and bodybuilding.

“I did everything I wanted to do in bodybuilding and the military. I wonder what’s left at times, but what do you know? I’m still living my life for me.

In May, Bostint competed in the NGA physique contest in Florida, four months after his 100th birthday. According to Inside Edition, he won top honors, championship belts and trophies.

In 1977, at the age of 52, he won “Sird Mr. America.” However, he is most proud of his service as a veteran of the Army Infantry during World War II, where he has served for 29 years.

Now, even at 100 years old, bosstint trains five to six days a week, he told Muscle and Fitness. He had to adjust his training when he was older. He has had problems with his feet due to his time in the military and has suffered a stroke before.

In 1977, at the age of 52, Bostint won “Serial Mr. America.”

“There are ways to compensate when you’re training, for example, lift your legs when you’re sitting to keep your abs tight,” he said. “And my right arm isn’t as good as my left, but I still have the person in charge until I feel it on the right.”

His advice for an aspiring bodybuilder is to “visualize what you want and then put your mind in it as much as you would do your muscles.”
