Things you need to know about shootings at Dallas immigration facilities

The gunman fired Dallas Immigration Field Office He killed two detainees from a nearby roof on Wednesday morning and seriously injured another person before committing suicide after authorities called indiscriminate attacks on US immigration and customs enforcement.

The Department of Homeland Security said in a statement when gunmen fired when all three of the victims were inside the van outside the facility. Authorities say they found ammunition with an anti-ice message on the scene.

The FBI said at a morning press conference that ammunition discovered at the scene contained an anti-ice message, and agency head Kash Patel released a photo on social media showing a bullet that contained the word “anti-ice” that appears to be a marker.

Where did the filming happen?

The shooting occurred at a local field office in Dallas, with agents carrying out short-term processing of people in custody. The victim may have been arrested on the ice recently.

The Ice Facility is located on Interstate 35, southwest of Dallas Love Field, and is a large commercial airport serving the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area, with city covering everything from hotels to airport travelers.

What other recent attacks have occurred at the ice facility?
